Project Introduction

About M.O.O.D.S.:
The invention of artificial emotions has brought chaos and destruction over a civilization of sentient mechs. They became corrupted and split into hostile fractions that are each dedicated to a singular emotion. A small group of uncorrupted mechs take up arms to correct the mistakes of the past.
Head into the fray with guns blazing and discover a wide variety of firearms and enhance them with a never-ending supply of upgrades.
Can you survive this bullet-hell and restore the once thriving robot society?
Blast your way through procedural dungeons in classic rogue-lite style - engage in heated battles and disassemble a host of hostile mechs.
Or get disassembled by said host of mechs. Mercy is not an emotion these mechs have, so be prepared to get riddled with bullets. Learn from your mistakes, upgrade your mech and head back - no run will be the same!

The core gameplay consists of fighting mechs by firing modified firearms and using class-based abilities.
You fight your way from room to room in procedurally generated levels and upgrade your weapon with weapon modifications (aka WeaponAddins) that significantly change the firing behaviour of the weapon and bullets. Due to the variety of weapon add-ins that can be found in the dungeon, you have unique gameplay experiences in each run.
Players start each run on the base of operations, that is located on the back of a giant recycling mech. Through quests in the dungeon you can rescue uncorrupted mechs and provide them with a home to ensure their support.
Local multiplayer works with up to 4 players. Steam Remote Play Together feature is also supported.
To play the local mutliplayer, click on the corresponding connected controllers under Options->Controls and assign the player to them.
