Project Introduction

Heliopolis Six is a city builder at its core. It is set in the near future in our solar system.

You build a space station from different parts, some of which have predefined functions, such as solar panels, while others are empty shells that can be equipped with modules, such as living quarters or workshops, to expand their functions.
The resources needed for construction are obtained from asteroids or space debris located around the station.
In Heliopolis Six there is no waste, all resources can be transformed into others. For example, food is made from CO2 and water and is converted into CO2 and water by the inhabitants who consume the food.
Another important feature is the inhabitants. They have needs, preferences and most of them will have stories to tell you. You need them to work in your station and you need them to be happy. They have different traits and characteristics that affect their work efficiency, so who you hire is important.

We want to integrate a campaign where you visit different places in our solar system.

About Developer

Acid Mines Software, a small indie team, was founded in Germany in 2018. We are a team of two and our fascination for video games and the long-cherished wish to develop our own video game lead to the decision to turn our hobby into a profession. From early attempts in Turbo Pascal (a space side-scroller) over Flash (a tower defense game) to Panda3D (the prototyping started) this endeavour eventually lead us to the development of our first video game: Heliopolis Six.
