Project Introduction

Juice, the alchemist, is called to Caribou Creek to fight the demons that roam the lands. As your unique version of Juice you explore the wilderness that once was New England. Fight evil in classic action RPG isometric top down view and in bullet-time close combat.

Find and craft items with game-changing powers. Master BattleJuice Alchemist’s deck-building mechanics by arranging your compilation of flasks to suit your playstyle. About Developer

Hi! I am Alain Brunotte and I started working on BattleJuice Alchemist in 2018. When I started the project, I did everything myself: from game design to programming, from concepts to all 2D and 3D art. I composed all the music you hear in the game and also created the unique pop-up book cinematics. I talked to many of the big names of publishers and got a lot of positive feedback describing the game as fun, unique and creative, but they were afraid the game lacks a clearly defined target audience. In early 2022, BattleJuice Alchemist received an Epic MegaGrant and shortly after I secured state funding as well as German Federal funding. This way I was able to expand Alchemical Works into a small team of amazingly talented people. We recently found a great publishing partner in ESDigital Games, who believe in our vision.

Beside an Epic MegaGrant, BattleJuice Alchemist won a Best Game Award at WN Dev Contest '21, won „Versus Evil Victor“ at Devgamm '22, won an Emering Talent Award at the World Trailer Awards '23, was an Indie Cup '22 finalist and is currently nominated for "Best Visual Art" at DevGamm '2023.
