Project Introduction

Superstar Strategy is a turn-based tactics game in the vein of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics. Players control several units each round in any order they wish to issue orders, defeat foes, capture objectives and more.

Unlike many other games in the genre, turns are passed every time just one unit is moved, until all units have been exhausted and a new round begins. This allows for balanced competitive play since players can react to their opponents before they are bombarded by several actions at once.

The final game will have a multi-mission campaign structure where players can unlock new units and skills as they build an army to take on the world and resurrect a defeated kingdom.

About Developer

Talberon Games is a one-man developer (Trevor Kendrick) from Halifax, Nova Scotia who works on games when he's not being a Software Engineer at his day job. Trevor grew up on the East Coast and loved to play games with unique mechanics and always wanted to make games when he grew up, but wanted to make his own games instead of building someone else's. Trevor uses game making as a way to explore multiple forms of creativity, including programming, composing, art and design.

Trevor (Talberon) regularly participates in the local Halifax Indie Devs Play & Tell meetups in Nova Scotia and loves to connect with other developers in the area. Halifax is still a fairly small scene, but with meetups and collaborations like these, we are seeing more devs showing off cool original work than ever before.
