Project Introduction

Aloft is a hybrid gaming experience. For those who want it, it offers a relaxing and peaceful survival experience focused on exploration, creativity and sharing. As a sandbox survival game, Aloft rewards aesthetic construction and creativity. It also offers a creative mode, a photo mode and an island editor, allowing players to create their own floating island, then share it with friends and the gaming community.

For players looking for an adventure, Aloft is full of challenges to overcome. The ecosystem is corrupted by a mutant fungus that drains life from the environment and contaminates the islands by clouds of spores. In the eye of the hurricane would be the solution to this corruption, but you’d have to get there first. The eye is surrounded by storm walls containing mutated creatures, high winds, lightning and deadly debris. Your island will have to be strong and fast to survive these danger zones.

Finally, Aloft allows you to do all of these things cooperatively with up to 8 players. They can move from game to game and build their base of operations without ever losing their progress. In fact, your island and inventory follow you everywhere! Thus prepared and well accompanied, it's only a matter of time before you brave the storm and clear the sky of the corrupting fungus.
