A multiplayer session-based real-time strategy game. Players start on different planets, each in their own planetary system. The objective is to develop infrastructure on the home planet as quickly as possible and start building a combat space fleet. The goal is to capture the opponent’s planetary system and destroy their army. One of the key elements of gameplay is colonizing neutral planets. This allows to increase resource production and speed up the construction of warships, gaining both economic and military advantages over the enemy. The game features 5 types of resources and 8 distinct infrastructure buildings. Additionally, 12 scientific research options are available, providing a significant advantage in both economic and military domains. Players must balance resource extraction, colonization of new planets, military infrastructure development, and scientific research. Only careful and strategic balancing of all game aspects can lead to victory over the opponent.
About Developer
My name is Ihor, and I’m a solo developer working on a game called Planetary Wars. This is my second project; the first one is an Android puzzle game called Bubble Strike. I’m a professional software developer, and my passion for video games and curiosity about how they are made led me to the world of programming. I spent about 10 years working in web development. Over the past year, I’ve been on a creative break, which allowed me to rediscover why I started programming in the first place. I’m developing Planetary Wars for my own enjoyment and only when I feel inspired, trying not to pressure myself. My goal is to release Planetary Wars on Steam in Early Access and gradually improve it.
