About Developer

Our entire team consists of two developers, one from Ukraine and the other from Slovakia. We began our collaborative journey back in 2016, working on multiplayer modifications for popular single-player games. Our main projects were Mafia 2 Online, Mafia: Oakwood, and later Mafia MP. Creating such mods is a complex and challenging task, as it requires knowledge and skills not only in game development but also in reverse engineering and system engineering.

Over time, we also released several free open-source libraries for the C programming language, which became quite popular within the gamedev community (librg, zpl, enet). These libraries focus on multiplayer functionality, system elements, and performance optimization where possible.

These libraries became useful in the development of our next gaming projects, such as Neon Slayer and Eco2d, which were freely released and available on Itch.io. Neon Slayer can be considered our first fully independent game.

We not only create our own games but also build our own engines. Just like with Neon Slayer, our latest game, Moons That Belong, is built on our open-source engine "V4K," written entirely in C using the best open-source libraries and contributions from the gamedev community.

Nowadays, we only see a path forward. Our primary goal is to complete and release Moons That Belong, based on the feedback we are continuing to receive after we released the demo version. Additionally, we already have plans for a sequel, tentatively scheduled for 2028. :)
