Project Introduction

The player takes on the role of a scientist in a secret Cold War-era laboratory. The laboratory is secret for a reason, as they are developing bio-weapons – extremely powerful creatures made from the DNA of various living organisms combined with the latest technologies. The goal of the experiments is to combine all the best traits and abilities of the creatures into one to create a controllable and nearly invulnerable mutant.

All previous attempts failed until today... During the latest attempt at creating the mutant, which was nearing completion and was expected to be successful, something suddenly went wrong, and the scientists lost control of it. As a result, the test subject broke free from its chamber, leaving death and destruction in its wake. During the incident, several complex systems were damaged, including the lighting. Fortunately, there is a backup generator for emergencies.

Now, the surviving scientist faces a new task – to eliminate the mutant. There are several ways to do this, one of which is to create a poison. To prepare it, you'll need a variety of ingredients, so you'll have to search the entire complex to find them.

Game Features:

• Crafting – Use several stationary devices to work with ingredients. Combine them according to recipes or experiment – who knows where that may lead.

• Support items – Find and use various support items to gain certain advantages. Decide what’s more important for you – capacity, visibility, maneuverability, or something else.

• Interaction with the location – Turn local light sources on/off to stay in the shadows or vice versa. Use sinks and other environment elements that make noise to intentionally attract the enemy.

• Lighting system – Keep an eye on the fuel level in the generator that powers the entire complex. Manage the load to save fuel, even if it means sacrificing the functionality of certain parts of the complex.

• Sound system – Try not to make unnecessary noise unless you're doing it intentionally, as it might attract the enemy.

• Replayability – The game offers multiple endings, randomized placement of ingredients and items, and recipe generation for each playthrough.

• Hardcore elements – Be cautious around certain ingredients, as they might fall and break, setting your progress back. Also, don’t forget about the air supply system; when the power is out, it stops functioning, which can lead to failure after some time.

These features allow every player to find their own style and strategy for completing the game, generating different situations during gameplay.

Hi, my name is Ilya, I’m 20 years old, and I’m actively interested in game development with Unity. My journey as a developer began at 15 when I wrote my first program in Python. Some time later, I was drawn to Unity, and with it, the GameDev field. Since then, I’ve been actively studying this engine and constantly learning new things.
