Project Introduction

Hedgehog's Dilemma is a visual novel about a relationship of two university professors, of Marharyta and Mykhailo.
Marharyta - philosophy professor who lives and breathes with shades of feelings, flexible hints, and semitones. Mykhailo - mathematician who does not understand abstractions and has a sincere, almost straightforward approach to everything. You will ask, what even can bind such people together? Nevertheless, sometimes a person just meets another person and their lives become connected to each other.

- Build relationships between Marharyta and Mykhailo, two university professors with their own baggage
- Navigate choices that define potential ending and direction of relationships between two heroes
- Read story from both perspectives and collect information on what's actually happened in their past and in their future
- Define for yourself the cost of connection and fate

The game consists of two hours of content, two different storylines, lot's of dating scenes, and lots of philosophical dialogue.

About Developer

We are creative duo Neo Vulgate Cycle which produce visual novells in collaboration with various Ukrainian artists. We started developing our own indie games thanks to the first Ukrainian visual novels' jam, which took place in the summer of 2022. After that we continued to participate in jams, communicate with similar to us people and take an active part in the community. We specialize in narrative-heavy games, personal stories in a settings close to Ukrainian realities. Hedgehog's Dilemma will be our first project with a full release on Steam, and the second project announced there.
