Project Introduction

2054. Kharkiv is growing, building, and restoring the places of worship of the past. You are Yaroslav Varenyk, a student at one of the city's universities. Your parents bought you an apartment in Pavlovo Pole, and your task is to make it comfortable! To do this, you will have to go to the market to buy different things and bargain!
This market is one of the largest in the world, and the largest in Eastern Europe! People call it ‘Baraban’. In the future, this will be its official name! So join us for an interesting exploration of the ‘Baraban’ of the future!
One of the best neighbourhoods in the city
You live in one of the best neighbourhoods in the city - Pavlove Pole! It has good infrastructure, and you can even take a walk to see all its beauties! It is actively under construction, so there is a good metro system here! In addition, a market is also being built here, but it is not yet operational.
Every game day you will need to get to the Baraban. You live in the Pavlovo Pole neighbourhood, from which you will have two ways to get to the market:

It can be the metro:
It can be a bus:

Once you arrive at the market, you will face a number of challenges. One of them is to find the right store, which is what you will do. You'll have a list of must-have items, and all of them are sold in different shops! You have to find each one, and that's what you'll do!
Once you find the item you want, you can buy it at the price you are offered. But you may often have a limited budget, so in some cases you will be forced to bargain with the sellers in the market! And these cases are the majority! Therefore, your main task is to bargain when buying different kinds of goods! This is the main task of this game - to learn to bargain!
As a result, the game is waiting for you:
-Your personal apartment where your purchases will appear;
-The ability to buy more than 15 products on the market;
-The ability and need to bargain;
-A comedy storyline;
-Computer graphics;
Every day you will go to the market, where you will improve your bargaining skills with sellers. You can also buy yourself a light snack! Remember that the way to save money is through cunning and the ability to get out of a situation. We are waiting for you at the market!

About Developer

Brenntkopf Development grew out of one man - Vitaliy Chizh. He is a self-taught historian who wanted to make his own stalker for phones. While developing a similar project, he was joined by Ilya Khudokormov, with whom they have been working for 4 years. At the development stage of Son of Perun Kharkiv, we were joined by our regular sound engineer Ivan Mazur. This is the team we are working with!

The game about the ‘Baraban’ is rather a tribute to the legendary Kharkiv market. In fact, we can say that it no longer exists, as it almost completely burned down back in 2022. For many people, Barabashka evokes nostalgia and good memories, so the game will be a pleasant reminder of that spirit.

The game is available exclusively in Ukrainian. Only Ukrainians will be able to understand the flavour of this market, and it is probably impossible to localise it in a way that would reflect the essence of our market.

Therefore, as Kharkiv residents, as fans of Barabashka, we cannot help but create a game about it. Moreover, Ilya Khudokormov lives right next to this legendary place!
