Project Introduction

The main character "John Maynard" is based on the character of the ballad of the same name, "John Maynard." The story revolves around the helmsman John Maynard, who is part of Captain Hawkins' crew and becomes stranded on an island after their ship is suddenly attacked. John Maynard finds himself alone and quickly realizes that mysterious things are happening on the island. He encounters many skeletons and monsters during his exploration. Soon, he learns about the demon king who resides on the island and has set his sights on world domination. In order to leave the island, John sees joining the resistance and defeating the demon king as his only option.

During his journey, John encounters both new allies and new enemies!

About Developer

I started working on Cast Away - The Oddysee in 2011 with a friend of mine, who had the main idea but then left the development. Since then, I have mostly worked alone on the project from time to time, but with suggestions and story ideas from many other friends of mine, especially RonniX & SuBpEx.
