Project Introduction

In the near future, the zombie apocalypse has arrived. Almost the entire population of the globe was seized with rabies. A small part of the survivors huddled together and formed a confrontation squad. Their main task is to survive, survive at any cost. With this you will be helped by machine guns, swords, axes, flamethrowers, grenades, colo-throwers, etc. But the enemy is not so simple either. When a person is infected, before turning into a brainless creature, it goes through several stages. Each of which is different from the other and has its own characteristics.

First stage. The zombie retains signs of intelligence, which is aimed at destroying the survivors, the lack of self-preservation instincts and the absence of pain sensations have rewarded this stage of the zombie with a high speed of movement and attack. It does not devour its victim, but simply bites, from which it becomes infected with rabies and turns into a zombie.

Second stage. A semi-decaying brain loses the remnants of its mind and the zombie is unable to group and move in a coordinated manner. The movement speed is lost and the area of ​​object recognition is reduced. Such zombies can be approached closer than 100 meters without the risk of being noticed. At this stage, the victim does not become infected, but simply dies.

Third stage. Nothing remains of the nervous system, only primitive reflexes. The movement is chaotic. The recognition area is reduced to 5 meters. At this stage, the zombie devours its victim completely to keep it alive.

To protect themselves from monsters, people have built a large wall that needs to be periodically maintained and repaired. From time to time, survivors appear behind the wall, who are allowed inside through the gate. Your task is not to let the infected zombies inside!

Defend, kill, slash zombies so as not to be eaten. There will be a large number of them in the game, a lot of meat, a lot of blood!

I am a solo developer i.e. Indie. I create a game on my own, with my own means. I myself work in a creative workshop for the production of stone paintings using the Florentine mosaic technique. I do a little modeling in Blender, draw in Photoshop and learn programming from video tutorials. I dreamed of making games for a very long time, but there was no time. Zombotron is my first game, which I decided to bring to the finish line and I think it will be possible not only to finish, but also to interest and find my audience.
