About Developer

My real name is Sergey Kalmanovich, and Red Spot Sylphina is the pseudonym under which I work as an artist and video game developer.

I've been in game development since 2004, but I became a freelancer and solo developer a few years ago, after learning to draw and use Unreal Engine 4 on my own. Creating a cyberpunk pixel art game was an old dream of mine, which is now gradually coming true. I chose Unreal Engine 4 to build this project for two reasons. Firstly, I am primarily an artist, and my programming knowledge is limited, while the Blueprints system turned out to be very easy to learn. Secondly, contrary to stereotypes, Unreal Engine 4 is very convenient and has all the tools for creating 2D games.

My goal is to make Titanium Hound one of the best pixel art video games, like the Huntdown game for example, which is my current source of inspiration.
