1996 Events: True or False?

We all remember the distant 1996 - the growth of tension between NATO and the Warsaw bloc, local wars around the globe, rapidly flaring up and just as quickly fading away, groundless accusations of the USSR in the use of prohibited chemical weapons, shrouded secret death of General Secretary Pyotr Rodomyslov, the split in circles of the US political elites, which almost led to a civil war. In those days, anxiety was in the air, and there were plenty of reasons for this. But many still do not even realize that in 1996 the world was only half a step away from disaster.
I remember 1996 well. At that time I was serving in Warsaw, in the foreign political intelligence department, and even then some rumors and fragmentary information began to reach me. I have spent over twenty years collecting information and analyzing what happened. With great difficulty and bit by bit, I managed to restore the events of those years, many of them will be classified for many years to come. And now I am ready to tell the reader how close the world was to the abyss of nuclear war.
I will talk about this in my documentary book "REDSIDE".

REDSIDE is a gripping, story-driven TDS action movie set in an alternate universe. The game takes place in the 90s of the 20th century. The world is on the verge of a major conflict, ready to enter a hot phase. The player, on behalf of different characters, will have to complete tasks around the world, reveal the enemy's plans and prevent a possible nuclear conflict. You have to play for the Soviet side.

- The game has many types of weapons, divided into classes, each class with its own pros and cons, has a number of characteristics that affect the gameplay.
- The game has elements of stealth and tactics - the player can use silent weapons, hide in dark places, use cover to protect against enemy fire and more accurate aiming.
- In addition to weapons, the player will have to use a variety of equipment - tanks, armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles, drones, etc. *
- Also, in the course of completing tasks, the player will encounter minigames.

* in beta, the player will have to control the drone, missions using other technology are still in development.
