Project Introduction

Darkest Hour is a roguelike, in which the player will clean up spaceships and colonized planets of the solar system, collecting items and gaining new abilities at the same time.

The main emphasis is made on a hardcore gameplay, where each enemy, having no proper experience, is of a great danger. It is very important to react quickly and plan a route immediately for killing mobs in order to lose less armor and health.

In spite of various long-range weapons, the main one is still the pipe, so the player will have to dodge enemy projectiles and traps constantly, coming close to the mobs. A difficult-to-master energy shield, which gives a huge advantage with the right skill, will also help to avoid damage from projectiles.

Hi, I am 16 years old, in my free time I develop games alone after my lessons. Since childhood, I have been fond of everything related to games: from inventing strategic turn-based games in a sandbox to playing board games, invented by me, setting universes with reworked gameplay. Now I am making my first more or less serious steps in a game development and I want to associate my whole future life with this.
