Project Introduction

In Quilts and Cats of Calico, based on the board game Calico, you will be immersed in a warm, cozy world full of cuddly cats. Here the quilt bends under the weight of their paws and loud purring can be heard. It's a world full of patterns and designs awaiting the master quilt maker.
This game takes the concept of a digital board game to the next level. We have combined multiplayer and single-player modes including AI – classic gameplay features – with a deep story mode involving human-machine issues, inspired by Studio Ghibli productions. We also added customization and interaction options, which are uncommon in this genre.
In Quilts and Cats of Calico, cats are everywhere, running around the board, passively watching the game, disturbing or prancing around the screen. You can change their appearance, dress them up in outfits, and pet them. Each cat also has its own character, on which reactions to the player's moves depend. With this game, you can sink into a world of softness, full of purrs.
