Project Introduction

MonsterCare is a cozy management-simulation game that puts you in the shoes of a rookie owner of a wellness resort for monsters. It combines elements of Two Point Hospital with Tamagotchi, allowing you to construct and manage your own resort and provide the monsters with a much needed respite from their stress-filled lives. As you provide these creatures with a place to relax and rejuvenate, you’ll also be able to make a nice profit for yourself. You’ll have to be strategic in how you allocate resources to ensure that the monsters have access to all the creature comforts they need. Each monster has distinct requirements, so you’ll have to find ways to cater to their individual preferences. You’ll also have to manage the day-to-day operations of the resort, from hiring staff to marketing campaigns. The satisfaction of the monsters and your own financial success depends on your ability to build a successful resort, so get ready to start managing!

About Developer

We are Housefolk, a tiny-yet-mighty game studio based in Riga, set out to make whimsical simulation games that are accessible and fun for everyone :) We have more than 12 years of experience in the games industry between us, and we have worked on some cool games for PC and mobile, such as Space Engineers, Loona, Cities: Skylines and Hustle Castle. One faithful day in 2021 we decided to team up and make a long time idea of ours a reality!

The "why" of Housefolk was born out of frustration with the current state of management/simulation, which is a very niche genre of games that has historically attracted mostly the players who already “know the ropes”. Our experience in both mobile and PC/console markets gave us the confidence that we can do better. Through great UX, gradual complexity curves, and cute and wholesome visuals, we make games that are approachable and fun to play to a broader range of people of different backgrounds and skill levels!
