Project Introduction
In the hidden world of our bedrooms, a long-lasting war has been waged between small pillows known as Bulanci, or EAP (Extremely Aggressive Pillows).Bulanci is a full-fledged successor to the eponymous shareware party minigame from 2001, which originated as a student project. During its time, it was installed almost on every school or work PC in the Czech Republic, and in its lifetime, it amassed more than 16 million downloads.
Therefore, the party game Bulanci stems from a tried and tested concept, and besides cross-platform multiplayer for up to 12 players, it will bring a single player campaign which up to 4 players can play cooperatively on one PC. Each of the 10 distinct settings brings its own game mechanics and play style. Players can also participate in level building thanks to the editor where they can create their own maps. As of now, the game is in Early Access

The team behind Bulanci consists of experienced veterans of the gaming industry.Kamila Hurniková - Founder CEO
One of the original authors of Bulanci. She is the co-founder of the Czech Game Developers Association, where she participates actively. She also played a part in creating the Czech Game of the Year award. For more than 10 years, she had organized one of the biggest Central European gaming conference, the Game Developer Session (GDS).
Jaroslav Wagner - Lead Game Designer / Lead Artist / Co-founderA graphic artist, gaming designer, theatrical director, writer, and illustrator. Besides the original Bulanci project, he was also behind the Czech gaming legend, the Polda 1 click-and-point adventure game. He is the co-founder of the prestigious Czech Game of the Year award, which has celebrated the creators of the best Czech games for 13 years now.
Michal Červenka - Lead Programmer
A senior programmer with 20+ years of experience in game development. He is the founder of the Dreadlock studio, which released the Czech cyberpunk game called Dex and is also behind the Mimpi game. He has contributed to more than 8 other gaming projects so far.
Pavel Hruboš - Lead Animator
He studied animation at the university in Zlín. He worked as an animator on the Mafia 2 game, which gained critical acclaim all over the world. For many years, he also contributed to various projects in the advertising and movie industries. He devotes his time to education, having been a lecturer of animation and visual effects at the Prague School of Creative Communication for more than 5 years.
Jan Halfar - 3D Lead Grafik / Technical Designer
A lead artist and a technical designer, who has spent his career creating graphics for more than 200 game titles at various global studios. He worked on the mobile ports of Just Case 1 and 2 or The Sims, to name a few.
Jan “Jaczk” Zmeškal - Team Lead
A product designer and a development manager with 10+ years of experience. He actively participates in the Game Dev Hub project (the first Czech school of game development), where he works with the community. To develop his skills and the ability to work under time pressure, he attended several game jams in the past. At the GDS Warhorse Game Jam, he managed to get to the Top 3 of 26 projects, and he also won the 2nd place at the Brno Game Jam.
