Project Introduction

Play as Arcos the Spherium alongside your faithful A.I. Kindra in a desperate attempt to uncover the powers and secrets to save your civilization! The invaders seek ravenous expansion into new star clusters and threaten your homeworld's rapidly depleting energy! Journey through six lush, breathing ancient Elder Worlds where over fifty species of vibrant flora and fauna await.

Features:

• The combat gameplay in Spheriums requires the right weapon for the right enemy; You don't run and try shooting all enemies with the same gun; you will fail! Challenge gets more demanding as the game progress creating an exhilarating feeling during battles.

• The player accumulates experience points when defeating enemies, giving him the ability to upgrade his guns, running speed, and force field, to name a few. Richness in the skill tree forces the player to make choices depending on his playing style.

• Resource management plays an essential role in the game due to limited inventory space. Resources are used for upgrading gears and crafting power-ups, forcing the user to decide which one to do based on his strategy.

• Music plays an essential role in the game. While exploring the world, calming music plays to make you feel relaxed, but this is not a perfect vacation spot! When danger emerges, the music suddenly switches to an intense tempo. The music is back to a zen soundtrack when all enemies are defeated.

• Kindra is your AI custodian that guides you and will play a significant role later in the game as she will carry attack abilities to help you defeat enemies.

• A 12 to 15 hours of playtime

About Developer

Founded by Nicolas Michaud and Jean-Pierre Harvey, our independent game development studio is based in the Montreal area. Our passion for gaming drives us and our artistic creativity to produce our first game, Spheriums, developed with Unreal Engine.

Being just two developers, we benefit from our multi-disciplinary background to tackle every aspect of the game production, complementing our expertise by subcontracting targeted tasks.

We are involved in the Indie gaming community by networking with fellow studios through "La Guilde du Jeu Vidéo du Québec", "Gameplay Space." and sharing our knowledge with other small studios.

We have been chosen to be part of "Loto-Québec" Indie Zone at the Montreal ComicCon and Megamigs Indie Zone.
