Project Introduction

DepowerBall is a predominantly multiplayer experience for 2-4 players, where players can play each other locally or online. The game also provides the ability at this time to add bots to local matches if you are playing alone.

Every match, each player starts with the same set of powers to try and accomplish their task of becoming the royal champion by feeding the Dragon Queen delicious treats!

When a player wins a round, he or she will earn the wrath of the other players as they vote to take away one of the winner’s powers! If you lose your main weapon you will be forced to use your headbutt to disable other players. If you lose your shields, the other players will have free reign to attack you while you are defenseless.
The first player to win a set number of rounds wins the match and becomes the royal champion! In order to succeed you will need adapt your strategy as you lose powers, or get left behind.

Our confirmed core game features are listed below:
- Local multiplayer action for 2-4 players
- Online multiplayer action where you can play alone in Quick Match or in a Party with up to 4 in a group!
- Spectator mode for party matches (up to six in a party)
- Balanced gameplay - where winning a round means losing one of your powers, ensuring a competitive atmosphere
- Power drafting - Where all players get to decide which powers are used in a match!
- Seven levels with ridiculous hazards!
- Two different game modes to keep things fresh (DepowerBall and T.A.G.)!

We also have ranked mode coming down the pipeline, along with a simultaneous Xbox release where crossplay will be enabled.
