Project Introduction

The game opens up with the antagonistic 'slobsters' running amok, leaving the in-game world in ruins with nearly every resident incapacitated. As the game progresses, the player rescues each villager (each consequently offering fresh new ways to shake up the core farming mechanic) while restoring each biome to natural harmony by planting better and better crops. It all culminates in the player and the villagers challenging the slobsters once and for all in an epic boss battle where battles are fought not with swords, guns, or brawn, but by the bounty of the communal harvest.

At first glance, the gameplay mechanics have similarities to a traditional farming sim, but at its heart, it's more akin to a boardgame style engine-builder. Throughout the course of the game, the player will use their harvested crops to create unique multipliers that supercharge their farming efficiency. However, if too many poor-quality seeds are planted simultaneously, smatterings of slobsters will spawn and impede the player's progress. And, since these slobsters are also a great source of resources, the game's difficulty is determined by how quickly the player chooses to progress.

All the while, the player truly finds a home in the community among a crew of loyal zany friends, each with their own unique personality, stories, perspectives, hopes and dreams. Enjoy the neighbourly atmosphere as you witness and become a vital part of the lively social dynamics they share.

The game is filled with plenty of fun cutscenes and relevant mini-games that help spice up the primary gameplay loop, while contributing to your progress. Additionally, your friends always have plenty to say if you're up for a chat as you go about your day!

Make yourself at home and prove that play is a key part of Cirrus Business!
