Project Introduction

Atrio is an automation-meets-survival game set in a cyberpunk inspired post-apocalyptic world. Bend nature to your will by capturing and exploiting the creatures and environment to help you survive at all costs. The many threats and challenges you will face are too difficult to handle on your own, you must build, automate and optimize your systems to keep the world at bay to stay alive.

You are a nameless android tasked with restoring Station 3. Where are all the humans? What is your real purpose? What are these giant statues? The only way to know is to head into the dark wild. Build huge, efficient automation systems to keep your base alive while you explore the world.

About Developer

Isto Inc. is a three man indie dev team based in Calgary, Canada (born and raised)
Stephen is a former Microsoft Program manager turned game designer.
Kyle is a 2 time Olympic athlete, with his own Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Nissen). Ask us what it’s like to work with a famous person (It's pretty sick tbh).
We're the creators of Disjoint, and our newest game, Atrio.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We live by one rule: Make amazing games. And also don't be jerks.
So technically two rules. But we're all about breaking rules cuz we're bad like that. So technically we could make a mediocre game just to break the rules but so far all of our game(s) have been amazing.

Kyle and I met in university, and took a Games Design course, and formed a company 3 months after graduating in 2014. Stephen moved to Seattle to work at Microsoft on Windows and Kyle moved to Norway to coach the Australian Woman’s Olympic Aerials team. We worked remotely on Disjoint for 4 years. We moved back home and finished Disjoint, and now are both full time on Atrio.

Francois has recently joined our team from Quebec, Canada as a senior developer
